The news was a surprise a couple of weeks ago, leaked by TMZ: Ariana Grande got married with a top-secret ceremony. Shortly after, an anonymous insider had revealed to People that "It was tiny and intimate — less than 20 people. The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn't be happier". Now, finally, the first images are here, shared by the pop star herself via Instagram. The shots show Ariana and her new husband, Dalton Gomez, very much in love, while exchanging kisses and hugs surrounded by a profusion of flowers and candles.

Between Dalton and the singer it was love at first sight. The two met at the beginning of 2020, when Ari, looking for a new home in Los Angeles, came across the charming former dancer who later became a real estate agent. Rumors about the couple exploded when the ever-present mystery source told E! Online "Ariana is still madly in love with Dalton and is head over heels. It's a very healthy relationship. They love to be normal and Ari loves that he is very down to earth. He balances her out from the crazy industry she is in. They spend a lot of time hanging out at her house being low-key". Soon after, the relationship was officially confirmed by Dalton's guest appearance in the Stuck with U music video. Meanwhile, the pandemic broke out and the two lovers decided to spend the lockdown in the mega-mansion in Montecito, the same one where their wedding took place. Their time together brought them so close that last December, Gomez proposed to Arianna with a pearl and diamond ring and the promise "Forever n then some".

Ariana Grande walked down the aisle, accompanied by both parents, in a custom Vera Wang gown. Vogue US revealed that a few years ago, during a Met Gala, the designer promised the singer that when the time came, she would be the one to create the perfect bridal look for her special day.  And so it was. The model, in lily-white silk charmeuse, featured a sweetheart corset and a deep back neckline that left her back bare and showed off the tatoo the star has on her shoulder. A chic and minimal wedding dress, accessorized with close-toe platform in white Giuseppe Zanotti satin and a mid-length veil with a bow, which to many looked like an homage to Audrey Hepburn in the movie Funny Face. The choice of accessories was also minimal: Lorraine Schwartz pearl and diamond earrings, the real wedding and engagement ring, both designed by her husband.

Fun fact: One of the two rings was worn backwards. According to fans of the former Disney star, the reference would be the Sweetener album cover, where there was a photo of her upside down.

Even on her wedding day, Ari decided to stay true to herself, opting for her most iconic hairstyle: the ponytail, but, this time, in a semi-updo. Hairstylist Josh Liu arranged the hair in the middle of the head with a light wave starting from the centerline, stopping the tail behind the head with retractable elastics from the brand ùtiles beauty. The focus of the makeup was the look. Make-up artist Ash K Holm created a very thin cat-eye, added fake eyelashes and, finally, blended a brown eyeshadow that seemed to veer slightly towards orange. Arina also opted for the same matte shade for her lipstick.

Intimacy, elegance and a lot of romanticism. These are the keywords of the interior decoration chosen by Ari for the ceremony. She and her new husband got married, in front of a very small group of family and friends, in their villa in Montecito, decorated with lots of white candles and a shower of wild flowers that came down from the ceiling, the same raw flowers that were also the protagonists of the tablescaping.
