5 things to do in Milan during SS22 Women's Fashion Week
From the last minute free hairtsyle to initiatives to discover new local and international talents of the fashion landscape
September 22nd, 2021
The SS22 Women's Fashion Week has officially begun in Milan, which will take place from September 21st to 27th and will see, for the first time after two almost entirely digital and social distancing editions, the return to face-to-face events. Milan is once again the vibrant and energetic capital of fashion, although fashion shows and presentations will see a limited number of guests and a Green pass requirement. In a world of fashion that professes itself to be increasingly inclusive and open to its spectators, not all events are reserved for professionals in the fashion sector: so nss G-Club has selected 5 interesting activities to discover in Milan during the Fashion Week, from milk_shake's hairtsyle flash to initiatives to preview new local and international talents in the fashion industry.

Discover Afro Fashion Week 2021
The Milanese fashion week opened with the We Are Made in Italy (Black Lives Matter in Italian Fashion Collective) collective show, where 5 BIPOC talents presented their collections thanks to a project by the WAMI team. But it is not the only moment of Fashion Week to open a conversation with talents from all over the world: in fact, from September 23rd to 27th the sixth edition of Afro Fashion Week will take place in the city, dedicated to the SS22 collections of young designers of African origin and BIPOC. Many of these collections focus attention on social issues and sustainability. The Fab Five Bridge Builders International collateral project was also born from the collaboration between Camera Nazionale della Moda, Stella Jean and Edward Buchanan to support young BIPOC talents within the Italian fashion scene. The calendar of events and all the information are available on the website afrofashion.org.
