Hunter Schafer stars in Prada's new campaign

This is definitely a great moment for Hunter Schafer. Born in 1998, model, actress, artist, it-girl and LGBQT+ rights activist who has always fought for the extension of gender concept, since January 10 she is back on Sky Atlantic and NOW TV with the second season of Euphoria and has been chosen as the new face of Prada's spring-summer 2022 campaign, entitled In The Mood For Prada. Together with the all-female cast, the other great protagonists of the campaign are the garments created by Miuccia Prada and Raf Simons, such as the black dress with a long train, the bright yellow sweater, the khaki leather coat, the pink dress with a wide back neckline or the bustier top.

In the images by David Sims, Hunter, together with models Selena Forrest, Julia Nobis and Lina Zhang, reflect the emotional communion that is created between a woman and her clothes and try to give body to the dichotomy between reality and fantasy, between the physical sphere and the intellectual one, desire and sexuality. The result is a series of intimate and real, ambiguous and intriguing shots that reveal the intimacy of a daily and almost trivial gesture such as the act of dressing and undressing. 

This is not the first collaboration between Hunter Schafer Prada. The actress, not only has chosen to wear the creations of the Milanese brand on several occasions such as at the Met Gala 2021 or at the Los Angeles premiere of Euphoria 2, but has been the face of the campaign for the Galleria bag, but has also been involved in the talk between Raf Simons and Miuccia Prada that followed the FW21 fashion show.
