Beauty comes from wellness from Rinascente's Beauty Bar
The department store will donate 5% of profits to Fondazione Humanitas's research
May 4th, 2022
The association between beauty and wellness, too often devalued as a frivolous subject, becomes the meeting point between La Rinascente and the Humanitas Foundation for Research, which join forces to safeguard the territory, enhance its treasures and guarantee those who live there a high quality standard of living. From May 1 to 31 is active the counter that calculates the revenue of the spaces Beauty Bar of Annex Rinascente whose 5% will be donated to Humanitas research for women's diseases such as breast cancer but also all autoimmune diseases that afflict a large percentage of the female population and not. Rinascente and FHR, thus reopen the dialogue started in early April from Turin, continued on Florence, and will be developed in 2022 on the other stores of the collection Rinascente with full pride of Rinascente, as stated by Pierluigi Cocchini, CEO Rinascente:
"The Beauty Bar for Research project, together with Fondazione Humanitas per la Ricerca, gives us the opportunity to talk about the concept of wellness in an increasingly broad and transversal way. The heart of our Beauty Bars are digital native brands, independent brands with a very high value content where research, innovation and anticipation of trends are essential drivers for an increasingly conscious consumption of products [...] Our department stores are extremely lively places: they need energy and care to be dedicated internally but also attention and sensitivity to intercept what surrounds them".
The funds raised from the research will allow Humanitas to deepen the studies on the microbiota, a fascinating world, responsible for the development of various symptoms and diseases of the intestinal system. For example, the irritable colon, a problem that affects 40% of women - and of which only 25% are aware - and can affect the quality of our daily life. Wellness and quality of life become fundamental vectors for communication and the beauty market, which benefits the person not only by being beautiful, but also by being well.
Especially because, as stated by Professor Maria Rescigno, Humanitas Foundation for Research Advisor and head of the laboratory of mucosal immunology and microbiota of Humanitas, "Beauty comes from the well-being of a strong organism with healthy defenses". The doctor goes on to thank Rinascente.
Here, then, is one more reason to visit the flagship store in Milan Piazza Duomo and the store in Monza Largo Mazzini: from 1 to 31 May, purchases at the Beauty Bar spaces on the second floor of Annex and on the ground floor respectively have an added value.
