Who is Nicola Peltz Beckham?

Young, beautiful, rich, and in love. At not even 30 years old, Nicola Peltz already seems to have everything one could want. Including a cop TV series, Welcome To Chippendales, coming out on Hulu in which she has a small role. That's right, because although in recent months we have come to know her as the consort of Brooklyn Beckham, the eldest son of Victoria and David Beckham, the 28-year-old has a past as an actress during which she has collected participation in several television and film projects. There are several things most ignore about this girl with angelic features, including the fact that she is the heiress (Paris Hilton style, but in an understatement version) of one of America's richest families. 

Nicola Anne Peltz was born under the sign of Capricorn on January 9, 1995, in Westchester County, New York, where she grew up, amid mansions, jewelry, artwork, schools and private jets, along with four older brothers, two younger brothers and a sister. Daughter of former model Claudia Heffner, from whom she inherited beauty and photogenics, and Nelson Peltz, avowed fan of Donald Trump, as well as billionaire financier and founding partner of Trian Fund Management and investor in the most important companies in the United States who, according to Forbes, can count on a fortune of $1.7 billion, a figure capable of putting British in-laws, who stop at "only" $455 million, to shame. Despite the family's invaluable pedigree, Nicola began working as a child and, moved by a great passion for acting, made her big-screen debut at age 11 with Tanned for the Holidays before being cast in numerous films, from The Last Airbender to Holidate. Her most popular titles at the moment remain Transformers 4-The Age of Extinction, which in 2014 earned her a nomination for Best Promise at the Teen Choice Awards, the TV series Bates Motel, and the music videos for Miley Cyrus' 7 Things and Zayn Malik's It's You. She also recently made her debut as a writer and co-director in the independent film Lola James about a 19-year-old who works to get her little brother Arlo out of their toxic home environment while battling drug addiction.

Although her career has taken her to several red carpets, Peltz has always preferred to stay away from the spotlight and gossip, espousing the same restraint as her family of origin. And that was the case for a long time, even during the period during which she dated Anwar Hadid, brother of models Bella and Gigi Hadid, LANY frontman Paul Klein, and, according to rumors, even Justin Bieber before he met Hailey Baldwin. Then love broke out with Brooklyn Beckham and, inevitably, the couple became a favorite of magazines and sites specializing in celebrities and gossip that closely followed the evolution of their relationship. The first meeting, as Nicola confessed, was about 7 years ago at the Coachella festival, through one of her brothers, Diesel, but at that time they were both engaged and there was no spark. They became friends and, after first being spotted together at a Halloween party in October 2019, the two made their romance official by posting a photo together on Instagram in January 2020. Since then they have been virtually inseparable, both on their social media pages and on red carpets around the world, looking increasingly close enough to spend most of their quarantine together in their New York home. Then in July 2020, Brooklyn published a post on Instagram announcing their official engagement: "Two weeks ago I asked my soul mate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and father someday. I love you." The aspiring chef wrote, accompanying the romantic phrases with an image of the two of them embracing and looking into each other's eyes in baked love. On Saturday, April 9, 2022, Brooklyn and Nicola were married in Palm Beach, in a $75 million-plus oceanfront mansion owned by the Peltzes, in front of 300 select guests. Amid romance, luxury, and promises exchanged, the event filled social pages and magazines for two reasons: the wedding dress and an alleged fight between Nicola and Victoria Beckham. Rumors of a feud between the two women began when the American heiress showed up at the altar in a Valentino creation, a white duchesse satin gown with a square neckline and as accessories a very long French lace veil and matching gloves, deciding at the last minute not to wear a model designed by Posh Spice as, instead, she had previously announced. The official reason is that the atelier would not have prepared it in time, but insiders still speak of rivalries and jealousies over which of the two should hold the role of sole Mrs. Beckham and have the greatest influence over Brooklyn, who, for his part, adding his new wife's last name seems to have already decided which side to take. 

Although disagreements with Victoria seem not to be over, the former pop star still remains an important reference for Nicola, at least from a fashion perspective. Both, in fact, prefer a minimal and refined style, of which the wedding dress signed Valentino is the maximum example, like the other creations, also by the Roman Maison, shown off for the Met Gala 2022 and 2021, two hot pink models, the first one softer and floaty, the second one with thin straps and a train, completed by long gloves in pale pink. Revealing Peltz's love for clean silhouettes is her stylist, Leslie Fremar, who said that Nicola does not like elaborate details, prints or too many colors, she prefers simple lines that are nevertheless always contemporary and, for this reason, that she tends to wear brands, from Saint Laurent to Givenchy, via Prada and Louis Vuitton, and of course Valentino, in their cleanest and simplest version. Although, especially, for the red carpets Nicola opts for elegant and refined pieces, she always adds an extremely contemporary accessory that has been in trend for many months, and that is platform shoes. Even on her wedding day she wore Versace Medusa Aevitas. Whether sandals or boots, the actress never gives up platform-soled shoes to give her figure a boost and she matches them with the other essentials in her closet such as jeans, mini dresses,biker jackets and tank tops. Another accessory she particularly uses? Scarves and headbands, while for beauty she prefers to emphasize her eyes with cat-eye and play with her hair color, often going from blonde to brunette.
