CIAMONDO, we go to the festival Festival on 20-21 May to celebrate the whole person: body, mind and soul

One has just passed and we are already thinking about the next. This weekend we are staying in Milan, or rather, we are going to the Morel area. On 20 and 21 May, the first CIAOMONDO Festival will take place there, combining movement arts with holistic practises, breath and creativity. But that's not all. Music, workshops, lectures, shop and food will be connected and interwoven to create two days dedicated to the practise of yoga, Pilates, sound healing, EFT, gong, cocoa ceremony and breathwork. An event of responsibility and sustainability, dedicated to wellbeing in all its forms. All in a place where you can revalue your time in a positive and energetic context.

CIAOMONDO is the project created by Licia Florio for the pursuit of physical and mental well-being based on 5 principles: Breath, Movement, Meditation, Creativity and Sharing. The online platform, launched in January 2021, has today reached classes with +40 teachers and daily live classes. The CIAOMONDO community has grown over time. Thus, the project first became a book and today has evolved into a real physical festival at Morel's premises at Via Privata Gradisca 18. A 7,000 m² site that was once a cotton shoe factory is now a unique experience that combines the beauty and history of a 1930s industrial architecture with the multifunctionality of a village.

On 20 and 21 May, there will be more than thirty classes of different levels with teachers from the CIAMONDO network for a unique experience of exchange and six creative workshops with activities related to natural dyes, making organic herbal tea and pottery. Even if you do not want to participate in the courses and workshops, we are sure you will find your space to flourish at the CIAMONDO Festival. During these two days there will also be a series of free talks on wellness, leadership and spirituality, sex education and many other topics, which will be explored in depth in question and answer sessions where the audience can have their say and interact. There will also be many experiential moments, such as Freedom Dance or Circle, a combination of music and meditation where participants can experience and live new experiences in sharing with others through the combination of music, voice and movement.

Sharing as an experience that takes us beyond our comfort zone is a very important theme for the festival, which also aims at a broader concept of conviviality. To this end, the festival will host a Corner Street Food, featuring a mix of Milanese delicacies with a focus on vegan and vegetarian themes. Also food-themed are the Food Experiences offered by Bar Versini and Morel: two lunches and a pre-ordered dinner for a culinary immersion into the festival. And finally, there will be them, our favourite spaces. The Cry Room: a safe space with free entry for one person at a time, where you can let go of your feelings. A place that aims to raise awareness of the importance of self-knowledge and fight the stigma that society attaches to mental health problems.
