Born in Avellino in 2000 under the sign of Pisces, BigMama took to the stage of the Teatro Ariston last year, performing with Elodie on the cover night with American Woman. If on that occasion she caught the attention of those who didn't know her for talent, charisma, and style, her debut in competition at Sanremo 2024 promises to spark even more excitement. In the 74th edition, she brings La rabbia non ti basta, a song entirely written by her that mixes dance and rap, a message to her younger self speaking to all those who face bullying and violence. As revealed to G-Club, "It's a song that I deeply care about. A song that originates from love and has the power to spread love everywhere. It's a song that I dedicated to the most important person in my life: my younger self. In a sense, it's a mix of apologies on one hand and a request for courage on the other." From her first freestyles, BigMama captivates us with her sincerity, direct and authentic approach when addressing themes like body positivity, bullying, sexuality, and the courage to be oneself without compromises. Clara Soccini

Clara Soccini arrives among the 30 singers competing at Sanremo 24 after a year full of successes: from the role of rapper Crazy J in Mare Fuori to the Sanremo Giovani victory last December with Diamanti grezzi, where she sings "Cosa siamo noi? Solo diamanti grezzi" or "Perdiamo tutto, l'amore è una sala slot". It is a song about self-discovery that begins with an orchestral introduction and then gains a more sustained rhythm, merging with Clara's vocal qualities. These same qualities she will likely highlight in the duet on Friday, February 9th, with Ivana Spagna and the Coro di voci bianche del Teatro Regio di Torino on Il cerchio della vita.
