"Something Special" is the new song by Alessia Labate celebrating real friendship
Followed by video and shots that combine urban elements and romance

Emotional, pop, edgy. Alessia Labate was born with music in her blood, thanks to the influence of her father and his recording studio, where she played as a child for whole days, and her mother who is a dancer.
Alessia studied piano, cello, guitar and at the age of 12 she made her debut at the talent show Io Canto and later also at The Voice Of Italy. Her influences reflect the nuances of her tracks: from Michael Jackson, Jon Bellion, Tove Lo, Sia to Mark Ronson and Diplo.
In her music she combines the many facets of her style and her interpretation of pop music: ranging from the darker but shiny vibes of Black Soul to the lighthearted and fun pop of OMG.
But Alessia doesn't seem to stop. At 22 she is an independent artist, vocalist, author and vocal producer and creates music from her home-studio in Milan.
Odd as it might seem, 2020 has been a “good” year so far. I achieved many goals and my songs Just Love and OMG were genuinely appreciated and supported by Spotify Italy, different magazines - nss magazine among these - LA-based company HeardWell.
As Alessia told nss G-Club in an exclusive preview for us, this 2020 is undoubtedly offering her many surprises and many satisfactions. Indeed, today she presents her new song Something Special, an intimate and delicate hymn to friendship.
This song is stripped down, raw and intimate celebration of real friendship; the production is minimal and leaves space.
The single was produced by the multi-platinum Juno Award winning producer Ryan Stewart (from Vancouver, working with artists like Carly Rae Jepsen, Alan Walker, Simple Plan).
Alessia herself directed the video, together with her best friend Walter Coppola, who also inspired the song. Together with Walter they also created a series of pictures on the streets of Milan, where we can see the mix of urban elements and delicate features that characterize the new single. Basketball courts, bunch of flowers, old shop signs and pastel-tinted dresses come together in a perfect harmony of shapes and shades.
